
Gurugram, January 30, 2026: ACME Solar Holdings Limited (BSE: 544283 | NSE: ACMESOLAR) has strengthened its long-term renewable energy portfolio after signing a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement for a 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Tranche-VI project with NHPC Limited.
The agreement has been executed through ACME Solar’s subsidiary, ACME Urja One Private Limited, with the project scheduled to be connected to the Inter-State Transmission System. Connectivity approvals for the ISTS substations are already in place, enabling the company to move swiftly into the execution phase.
Project Structure and Supply Commitments
Under the PPA, the project carries a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor of 40 percent and includes a firm obligation to meet 90 percent of peak power demand for four hours daily on a monthly basis. ACME Solar expects the project to deliver a Capacity Utilisation Factor of over 60 percent, supported by a hybrid configuration aligned with dispatchable renewable energy norms.Capital Investment and Execution Progress
ACME Solar plans to invest approximately ₹3,700 crore in developing the 250 MW FDRE project. Construction is being fast-tracked, with nearly 40 percent of the land requirement already secured. Following this agreement, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed capacity has increased to 5,630 MW. In addition, the company has a firm pipeline of 2,140 MW, where letters of award have either been received or are awaited.
