Acme Solar Holdings Secures 300 MW Capacity in SECI’s Assured Peak Power Tender

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME) has emerged as a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by SECI for the selection of RE Power Developers. The tender involved the assured Peak Supply of 6000 MWh (1500 MW x 4 Hrs.) from ISTS-Connected RE Projects in India, under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (SECI-FDREIX).

The successful bid secured by ACME encompasses 300 MW of contracted capacity. The project has been contracted at a discovered tariff of Rs. 6.00/kWh and is set to supply 1,200 MWh (300 MW x 4) during the four-hour duration.

ACME possesses significant advantages regarding project development. The company already holds the requisite connectivity grant and has secured a substantial portion of the land required for the project. This advanced level of development readiness is expected to significantly shorten the project execution timeline and ensure timely commissioning.

The acquisition enhances ACME's energy storage portfolio. Upon the execution of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the project will contribute 1.2 GWh to ACME's battery energy storage (BESS) portfolio. This successful bid increases the company's PPA-signed BESS pipeline to approximately 15 GWh.
