Abha Power and Steel Limited (APSL) has announced that it has secured a new order worth approximately 1.39 Crores from the Central Railway. This new contract award helps reinforce the company’s presence and market share within the railway sector.

As of May 21, 2026, the company’s total order book stands at approximately 21.60 Cr, showcasing its strong business momentum.

The contract details highlight that the Central Railway has awarded the order for the supply of castings, specifying compliance with relevant technical requirements and standard payment terms, with a warranty period of up to 48 months from the date of delivery. The order, which is classified as a domestic supply of goods, is slated for execution by June 30, 2027. The specific value of this contract is 1,39,79,318.40/- (Rupees One Crore Thirty-Nine Lakh Seventy-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Eighteen and Forty Paise).

Company Operations and Market Presence​

APSL is a major provider of products across diverse industries, including Indian Railways, steel, cement, heavy engineering, mining, and power. The company maintains a strong operational footprint both domestically and internationally, serving clients in over six countries, including UAE, Qatar, Germany, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, and Nepal.

The company’s manufacturing complex, located at the Silpahri Industrial Area in Bilaspur, houses two ISO 9001:2015 certified foundries, covering railways, steel, cement, and engineering sectors.

APSL has strategically implemented measures to reduce its operational costs and enhance its sustainability profile. The manufacturing facility includes a captive solar power plant with a capacity of 3 MW, which significantly contributes to environmental responsibility by saving an estimated 3400 MT of CO2 emissions annually.

Established in 2004 with a steel ingot and billet manufacturing plant in Hardikala, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, the company expanded its capabilities. In 2009, it added a spheroidal graphite iron foundry dedicated to serving the Indian Railways. Further expanding its operational scope, the company transformed its ingot plant into a dedicated steel foundry in 2016.
