
Wheels India Q1 Performance Highlights: Net Profit Rises to Rs 37 Crore as Revenue Grows 16.8%
Chennai, July 27, 2026: Wheels India Limited has reported a strong first quarter for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with its net profit increasing significantly. The company registered a net profit of Rs 37 Crore in Q1, up from Rs 26 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.Revenues for the quarter also saw robust growth, rising by 16.8% to reach Rs 1,386 Crore, compared to Rs 1,187 Crore recorded during the same period last year. Exports demonstrated particular strength, increasing by 17.3% to Rs 380 Crore from Rs 324 Crore in the previous financial year's first quarter.

Commenting on the company's performance, Srivats Ram, CMD of Wheels India stated that sales grew alongside the domestic market for cars, trucks, and agriculture tractors, noting continued momentum following GST 2.0 reforms. He also highlighted strong growth in the export of construction equipment wheels. However, Mr Ram noted that there were strong inflationary pressures on material costs due to the West Asia crisis.
Looking ahead, Srivats Ram expressed confidence in the company's trajectory, stating that management expects the growth momentum to continue into Q2.
