
Visaka Industries Receives Assessment Order and Demand Notice from Income Tax Department
Visaka Industries Limited has received an Assessment Order and related demand notices from the Income Tax Department, the company announced on March 25, 2026. The order pertains to the Assessment Year 2024-25.The Assessment Unit of the Income Tax Department issued an Assessment Order under Section 143(3) and a Demand Notice under Section 156 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The demand amounts to ₹92,79,530.
According to the Assessment Order, the Income Tax Department made certain additions to the income initially reported by the company.
Visaka Industries is currently evaluating the order and believes it has grounds to contest the findings. The company intends to file an appeal before the appropriate authority. Management stated that the matter is not expected to have a material adverse impact on the company’s financial position, operations, or other activities.
The communication was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Details of the assessment order are provided in an enclosed annexure.
