Vikram Solar Secures 378.75 MW Solar Module Order from Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy for Gujarat Project​

Major Solar Module Supply Deal for 600 MW Gujarat Project​

New Delhi, February 25: Vikram Solar Limited announced on Wednesday that it has secured a supply order for 378.75 MW of high efficiency solar modules from Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited.

Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited is a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and NTPC Green Energy Ltd.

According to the company statement, Vikram Solar has been awarded the order under a major project tendered by NTPC Green Energy Limited, the renewable energy arm of NTPC Ltd.

Deployment Near Nakhatrana in Kutch, Gujarat​

The 378.75 MW modules will be deployed near Nakhatrana in the Kutch district of Gujarat. The supply forms part of a larger 600 MW solar project being developed by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited.

The project strengthens Vikram Solar’s footprint in Gujarat, a region regarded as strategically significant for India’s renewable energy expansion. The state continues to play a pivotal role in large scale solar capacity additions, supported by enabling policies and robust infrastructure.

Advanced N-TOPCon Modules to Power Utility Scale Installation​

Under the scope of the order, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced N-TOPCon modules. These modules are engineered to deliver enhanced performance, improved reliability, and higher energy yield in utility scale solar installations.

The delivery of modules is expected to commence in FY26.

First Large Scale Engagement with INGEL​

Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, stated that the order marks the company’s first large scale engagement with INGEL on a strategically significant project in Gujarat.

He said the development reinforces Vikram Solar’s ability to deliver high performance N-TOPCon technology for complex utility scale deployments, backed by execution certainty and manufacturing strength.
