Venus Remedies Limited Secures Renewal of DSIR Recognition for In-house R&D Unit

Venus Remedies Limited has secured the renewal of its in-house Research & Development recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. The renewal pertains to the company's dedicated R&D unit, the Venus Medicine Research Centre (VMRC).

The DSIR recognition is granted to organizations that operate a specific in-house R&D unit, provided they possess defined research objectives, qualified scientific staff, and separately accounted R&D expenditure. This renewed status confirms that VMRC continues to meet these stipulated conditions for maintaining its high standard of dedicated research.

This crucial recognition supports VMRC's continuing work focused on antimicrobial resistance. Among the ongoing projects is the development of VRP-034, a novel polymyxin 8 formulation which holds the USFDA Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) designation. Furthermore, the renewed status helps sustain the GASAR resistance surveillance study being conducted by the company.

VENUSREM Stock Price Movement

Venus Remedies Limited shares rallied strongly today, settling at ₹1555.80 after closing up 4.99%. The stock finished at its 52-week high, with a trading volume of 282,923 shares recorded during the session.
