Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited has clarified and corrected key details regarding its definitive agreement to integrate a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) through Serentica Renewable India 9 Private Limited.The company confirmed the execution of the definitive agreements for the BESS integration, which involves utilizing the existing 600 MW Solar Power Delivery Agreement (PDA). The correction addresses and specifies the capacity and assured supply figures related to this system.
According to the updated details, the Battery Energy Storage System has a capacity ranging from 142.5 MW to 150 MW. Furthermore, the company confirmed that the assured supply for the BESS is set between 90% and 95%.
The clarification was issued following an inadvertent error in previous disclosures concerning this strategic integration project with Serentica Renewable India 9 Private Limited.
