Management Commentary on Growth and Strategy

Mr Sachit Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, Vardhman Special Steels Ltd., commented on the results, stating that the company has commenced FY27 with a strong foundation, achieving healthy growth across production, revenues, and profitability. This performance was driven by sustained demand from key customer segments and improved operating efficiencies alongside better realizations following price hikes received from OEMs.

The strategic investments made over the past year are translating into tangible operational benefits. The commissioning of Kocks Block and a new reheating furnace in the last financial year has bolstered manufacturing capabilities, enhancing product quality and efficiency while expanding finished rolling capacity to 2.7 Lacs MTPA. Furthermore, the solar power plant is supporting long-term sustainability goals by lowering energy costs.

Looking ahead, management highlighted a focus on executing the long-term growth strategy. This includes the development of a 5 Lacs MTPA Greenfield special steel facility and the forging and machining plant in collaboration with Aichi Steel Corporation.
