VA Tech Wabag Secures Medium Order from RIL for Effluent Treatment Plant at Jamnagar
Chennai, September 7, 2026: VA TECH WABAG ('WABAG'), a leading Pure-Play Multinational Water Technology Group, secured a medium-sized repeat order from Reliance Industries Limited ('RIL'). The contract involves the Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection & Commissioning of an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) at the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC) in Jamnagar.The proposed ETP project is scheduled for completion in 13 months. It will be designed using state-of-the-art technologies, incorporating both chemical and biological treatment processes. A key component of the project includes a sludge treatment system utilizing low-temperature drying for efficient sludge management.
The order win reinforces the long-standing relationship between WABAG and RIL, a key customer.
