New Delhi, January 3, 2026: V2 Retail Limited (BSE: 532867 | NSE: V2RETAIL) reported a strong business performance for the third quarter of FY26, led by rapid store expansion, improving store productivity, and sustained demand across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. The company continues to scale its value-fashion model while transitioning from a largely regional presence to a broader national footprint.

Q3FY26 Financial Performance

During the quarter ended December 31, 2025, V2 Retail’s standalone revenue rose sharply to ₹927 crore, compared with ₹591 crore in Q3FY25, marking a year-on-year growth of 57 percent. The strong growth was achieved on a high base, reflecting the company’s ability to consistently drive volumes and expand its retail network.

Same-store sales growth remained resilient despite festive calendar shifts. Reported SSSG stood at 2 percent year-on-year, while normalized SSSG was around 12.8 percent after adjusting for the shift of the Durga Puja season from Q3 to Q2 in FY26. On a cumulative basis, Q2 and Q3 FY26 together delivered same-store sales growth of 10.4 percent, with cumulative sales growth of 68 percent.

Store Productivity and Network Expansion

Store-level metrics continued to improve, with monthly sales per square feet reaching ₹1,032 in Q3FY26, indicating faster ramp-up and improving productivity of newly added stores.

V2 Retail added 35 new stores during the quarter, focusing primarily on consumption-driven demand in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. As of December 31, 2025, the company operated 294 stores across India, with a total retail area of approximately 31.93 lakh square feet. The expansion has further strengthened the company’s presence in high-growth non-metro markets.

9M FY26 Business Update

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, standalone revenue from operations grew 63 percent year-on-year to ₹2,262 crore. Same-store sales growth for the period stood at approximately 8.6 percent, supported by steady demand and expanding store coverage.

Monthly sales per square feet averaged ₹981 during the nine-month period. V2 Retail reported a net addition of 105 stores during 9M FY26, with only one store closure, underscoring the pace and consistency of its expansion strategy.

Operational Efficiency

Operational performance during the period was supported by data-led assortment planning, high sell-through rates, and efficient inventory management. Faster inventory churn and reduced aged stock helped ensure that merchandise remained aligned with seasonal demand, supporting healthy margins with limited markdowns.

The encouraging performance of new stores in non-core geographies such as Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, and South India has reinforced management’s confidence in the portability of the company’s value-and-variety model. V2 Retail has indicated that it remains committed to maintaining an aggressive expansion trajectory through the remainder of FY26.
