Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Reports Q4 FY26 Financial Metrics​

Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited released its business updates for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, detailing performance across disbursements, loan portfolios, and key deposit metrics.

Loan Portfolio and Disbursement Updates​

The bank reported total disbursements for Q4 FY26 at 4,207 (Provisional) ₹ Crore, marking a 30.1% increase year over year from Q4 FY25's 3,235 ₹ Crore. Year-over-year data also showed Q4 FY25 disbursements of 3,235 ₹ Crore, compared to Q3 FY26's 2,880 ₹ Crore, indicating a 46.1% sequential change.

Total disbursements were comprised of JLG Disbursements at 1,425 ₹ Crore (a 2.0% YoY change from 1,398 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25) and Non-JLG Disbursements at 2,782 ₹ Crore, which showed a substantial 51.4% YoY increase from 1,837 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25.

In terms of advances, the Gross Loan Portfolio* stood at 19,333 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY26, reflecting a (1.7)% change compared to 19,666 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25. The JLG Loan Portfolio* decreased significantly to 5,789 ₹ Crore (a (37.1)% YoY change from 9,207 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25). Conversely, the Non-JLG Loan Portfolio increased to 13,544 ₹ Crore, marking a 29.5% increase year over year.

The portfolio mix showed a shift in the JLG:Non-JLG ratio to 30:70 in Q4 FY26, compared to 47:53 in Q4 FY25. The Secured:Unsecured mix ratio for Q4 FY26 was 51:49, up from 43:57 in the previous year period.

Deposit Trends​

Total Deposits for the bank reached 21,654 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY26, a modest increase of 0.4% from 21,566 ₹ Crore recorded in Q4 FY25.

Key deposit components showed growth:
  • CASA Deposits were 5,196 ₹ Crore, increasing 10.6% year over year from 4,699 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25.
  • Retail Term Deposits stood at 12,720 ₹ Crore, a 19.6% year-over-year rise from 10,635 ₹ Crore.
  • Bulk Term Deposits saw a substantial decline, falling 40.0% year over year to 3,738 ₹ Crore from 6,232 ₹ Crore in Q4 FY25.

Asset Quality and Key Ratios​

Asset quality metrics for the Micro-Banking segment through Q4 FY26 indicated strong operational efficiency. The X Bucket Collection Efficiency was reported at 99.7% for Q4 FY26, improving sequentially from 99.1% in Q3 FY26. The SMA Pool percentage was recorded at 1.3% in Q4 FY26, down from 3.2% in Q3 FY26.

Key financial ratios as of the quarter end demonstrated the following:
  • The CASA Ratio was 24.0% in Q4 FY26, compared to 21.8% in Q4 FY25.
  • The CASA + Retail Term Deposits Ratio was 82.7% in Q4 FY26, up from 71.1% in Q4 FY25.

In liquidity terms, the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) was reported at 177% as on March 31, 2026.
