Urban Company Reports Strong Q1 FY27: Revenue Up 44% as Adjusted EBITDA (Ex InstaHelp) More Than Doubles YoY​

Gurugram, July 31, 2026: Urban Company Limited, a leading home services platform in India, announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company reported broad-based growth across its businesses and saw significant progress in core profitability. Consolidated Net Transaction Value (NTV) grew 42% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹ 1,465 crore, while revenue from operations increased 44% YoY to ₹ 528 crore.

The company delivered 13.2 million orders during the quarter and added approximately 1.2 million new users, marking the first quarter in which it crossed one million new acquired users. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA loss saw a sequential reduction (QoQ), shrinking from ₹ (98) Cr. in Q4 FY26 to ₹ (65) Cr. in Q1 FY27. Crucially, excluding investments in InstaHelp, the business generated an Adjusted EBITDA profit of ₹ 67 Cr., representing 4.8% of NTV and more than double the performance recorded in Q1 FY26.

India Consumer Services and International Growth​

The core India Consumer Services segment demonstrated strong acceleration. NTV grew 29% YoY to ₹ 1,056 Cr., which marks the fourth consecutive quarter of accelerating growth for the service category. Adjusted EBITDA in this segment reached ₹ 73 Cr., achieving a margin of 6.9% of NTV, up from 5.2% of NTV in Q1 FY26. The acceleration was supported by Tier 2 cities (beyond the top 10 metros), where NTV grew 36.2% YoY, outpacing the 28.7% growth seen in the top 10 cities.

In the International segment, NTV grew 76% YoY to ₹ 237 Cr. KSA joint venture (Waed, with SMASCO) saw a substantial increase, reporting 135% YoY growth to ₹ 77 Cr.

Native and InstaHelp Segment Updates​

The Native business registered a Net Revenue increase of 60% YoY to ₹ 95 Cr. The Adjusted EBITDA loss in this segment narrowed considerably, narrowing to (7.3)% of NTV from (11.4)% a year ago. During the quarter, two new products were launched: Native M3 Pro, a water purifier designed for a three-year maintenance-free life, and Lock Ultra, a smart lock featuring two-way video calling and facial recognition unlock functionality.

Regarding InstaHelp, orders grew 43% QoQ to 3.82 million, with NTV reaching ₹ 53 Cr., up 32% QoQ. The unit economics for the segment improved significantly, as the Adjusted EBITDA loss per order reduced to ₹ (346) from ₹ (447) in Q4 FY26, a change attributed to network densification efforts.

Urban Company Limited continues its investment in InstaHelp with the aim of solidifying market leadership while driving operational efficiencies across all segments.

Urban Company Limited shares slipped by 1.15% in trading today, settling at ₹129.39 after shedding ₹1.50 from the prior close. The stock saw a total volume of 1.24 million shares traded during the session.
