Updater Services Ltd has announced significant changes in its senior management structure as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at capitalizing on industry transformation and creating growth opportunities within the integrated facilities management (IFM) sector. The changes, effective August 12, 2026, involve a role change for Mr. Saravanan C.R. and the appointment of Mr. Rajeev Bhardwaj as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mr. Saravanan C.R. Becomes Chief Growth Officer

Mr. Saravanan C.R., who has been associated with Updater Services since 2016, will transition from his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to Chief Growth Officer (CGO). Mr. C.R. Saravanan was appointed to the company in 2016, initially as Director Business Operations, and became COO effective January 01, 2024. In his previous operational capacity, he managed all pan India business operations for UDS.

In his new capacity as CGO, Mr. Saravanan will be responsible for driving the company's expansion engine. His mandate includes owning new businesses, securing new logos and verticals, developing new service lines, and managing international expansion opportunities. He will lead strategic partnerships, bids and proposals, commercials, and overall growth strategy, with the primary goal of scaling UDS into higher-margin, differentiated business areas.

Rajeev Bhardwaj Appointed Chief Operating Officer

Updater Services Ltd has appointed Mr. Rajeev Bhardwaj as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective August 12, 2026.

Mr. Bhardwaj is a highly seasoned business leader with over 38 years of diverse experience spanning operations management, general management, sales and marketing, business transitions, and integrated facilities management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta. His extensive professional background includes leading large-scale Pan India operations, driving profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across the telecom, retail, and facilities services sectors.

Prior to joining Updater Services Ltd, Mr. Bhardwaj served as Director - Operations (National Operational Head) at Compass India. His core areas of expertise include strategic planning, operational transformation, P&L management, process optimization, and leading multi-location teams.
