TVS Motor Company Limited announced robust financial performance for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, posting its highest ever revenue. The company recorded a 38% growth in revenue compared to Q1 FY25-26 and achieved a significant rise in Profit After Tax (PAT), marking a 51% increase.

The automotive manufacturer reported total revenue from operations of Rs. 13,896 Crores for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The company's operational efficiency improved, with its EBITDA margin reaching 12.8%, up from 12.5% in the preceding year. Correspondingly, TVS Motor posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 1,173.97 Crores, which represents a 51% growth compared to Rs. 776 Crores reported in Q1 FY25-26.

The company achieved strong sales performance across its vehicle segments during the quarter. Overall two and three-wheeler sales grew by 28%, reaching 1.63 Million units, up from 1.28 Million units in Q1 FY25-26. Motorcycle sales saw a rise of 19% with 0.74 Million units sold, compared to 0.62 Million units in the prior period. Scooters experienced the strongest growth, increasing by 36% with 0.68 Million units recorded against 0.50 Million units in Q1 FY25-26. International business also grew by 33%, recording sales of 0.47 Million units versus 0.35 Million units in the first quarter of 2025-26.

Electric Vehicle Growth and Operational Milestones​

TVS Motor Company continued to drive momentum in the electric vehicle (EV) segment. Two-wheeler electric vehicles saw a substantial growth of 86%, registering sales of 129,940 units in Q1 FY26-27, compared to 70,060 units in the quarter ended June 2025. The company stated that it has now amassed more than 1 Million delighted EV customers.

Beyond financial results, TVS Motor Company also reported key operational and strategic developments during the period. The company successfully allotted 50,000 Senior, Rated, Unsecured, Listed, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) with a face value of INR 1,00,000 each, aggregating to Five Hundred Crores only.

Operationally, the Board approved a proposal to raise funds up to Rs. 1,000 Cr through various means, including non-convertible debentures and commercial papers. Additionally, the company proceeded with the Scheme of Amalgamation of Sundaram Auto Components Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, which was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal in May 2026.
