TVS Motor Company Launches Nepal's Most Powerful Apache RTR 160 4V
TVS Motor Company (TVSM) has introduced the all-new Apache RTR 160 4V in Nepal, positioning it as one of the most powerful motorcycles in its segment. The launch, held in Kathmandu on June 27, 2026, marked a significant step for TVSM to expand its footprint within the Nepali market by launching this performance-oriented motorcycle.The Apache RTR 160 4V is described as an embodiment of high-performance motorcycling, designed with input from racetrack experience and refined through forty-four years of TVS Racing heritage. The new model combines advanced technology with proven performance, targeting riders who value both agility and control.
Key enhancements introduced in the latest Apache RTR 160 4V include a segment-first projector headlamp, USD Suspension (Upside Down Forks), and a TFT Cluster. This version offers three ride modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain. The motorcycle is available in Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue.

During the launch event in Satungal, Kathmandu, which featured exclusive riding sessions for media and influencers, executives highlighted the motorcycle's strategic importance to TVSM.
Peyman Kargar, President of International Business at TVS Motor Company, stated that Nepal remains a strategically important market for TVSM due to its vibrant and growing community of riders. He noted that the new upgrades in the Apache RTR 160 4V—including enhanced visibility, improved stability, and intelligent connectivity—will empower riders to experience performance with greater confidence and control.
Shahil Agrawal, Managing Director of Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., emphasized the strong customer base for the TVS Apache brand among young riders in Nepal. He added that the introduction of features like the projector headlamp, USD suspension, and TFT cluster will strengthen popularity by providing global innovations from TVS Motor Company to customers in Nepal.
Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, pointed out that over two decades, the Apache brand has defined performance motorcycling for millions of riders across more than 60 countries. He reiterated that the RTR 160 4V continues to set the benchmark in the 160cc performance segment through racing-bred engineering and industry-leading technology.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V TFT is currently available at select dealerships across Nepal and is scheduled to be widely available across the channel network by July 2026. The motorcycle is priced at an ex-showroom price of NPR 4,29,900.
