Tirupati Forge Limited has announced a significant step in its defence manufacturing portfolio, entering into a Technical Collaboration Agreement (MOU) with an experienced defence technology professional from Brazil. This partnership aims to bolster the company's product design and manufacturing capabilities within the global defence market.The collaboration is specifically focused on supporting the development of critical defence products, including the 155 mm M107 Empty Shell Body and the 155 mm ERFB BB/BT Empty Shell Body. Furthermore, the agreement covers other larger size bombs and ammunition components across various calibres as will be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
The primary objective of this technical partnership is to leverage international expertise for enhanced product design, development processes, and manufacturing guidance. This support will align with internationally accepted defence standards, including applicable NATO requirements where relevant. The Memorandum of Understanding is set to remain valid until the successful development of these products.
Tirupati Forge Limited stated that the collaboration is intended to strengthen its overall product development capabilities and boost competitiveness in the international defence market, supporting the company's long-term strategy for growth within the sector.
