Time Medical India Partners with Parul Sevashram Hospital to Install Next-Generation AI-Enabled Intraoperative MRI Suite​

Time Medical International Ventures (India) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited and a leader in advanced medical imaging solutions, has announced a significant partnership. The company is set to install its revolutionary DRIS-iMRI Medharanya Suite at Parul Sevashram Hospital in Vadodara.

The DrIS-iMRI Medharanya is described as an AI-enabled, next-generation, portable and specialized intraoperative MRI system. This advanced imaging technology integrates several sophisticated components including Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Exoscope technologies. The platform is designed to fundamentally transform intraoperative imaging by providing surgeons with real-time visualization during complex neurosurgical procedures, aiming to ensure unprecedented precision and surgical control where traditional methods rely on limited visual feedback.

Time Medical International Ventures has selected Parul Sevashram Hospital as the site for the installation of its first Modern Brain Suite, featuring the DRIS-iMRI Medharanya system in Vadodara. This deployment aligns with the hospital's commitment to accessible and high-quality healthcare.

The Medharanya Brain Suite OT is an integrated surgical ecosystem that goes beyond intraoperative imaging through MRI-DRIS. It encompasses neurophysiology navigation, exoscope solution, machine vision, VR-AR, and robotronics into a single intelligent surgical environment. The platform seamlessly unifies diagnostic and surgical workflows in real time, enabling faster decision-making and supporting precision-driven neurosurgical execution from pre-operative planning to intraoperative confirmation.

The DRIS-iMRI Medharanya platform is jointly developed by TMIV in collaboration with Dr. Iype Cherian, a globally renowned neurosurgeon, educator, and innovator. Dr. Cherian holds an M.Ch (Neurosurgery) from CMC Vellore and has advanced fellowship training in Skull Base and Vascular Neurosurgery at Nagoya, Japan, and is recognized for pioneering techniques such as novel craniotomy approaches and the concept of Brain Cooling.

Ms. Svetlana Rao, Director of Time Medical India, stated that this upcoming partnership with Parul Sevashram Hospital marks a landmark deployment of a next-generation intraoperative MRI Brain Suite in India. The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance neurosurgical precision and improve clinical outcomes at the hospital.

Parul Sevashram Hospital serves as the teaching hospital of Parul Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, which operates under Parul University, Vadodara. The institution offers over 250 programs across 21 faculties, serving a community exceeding 43,000 students, including international students. The introduction of the DRIS-iMRI Medharanya Suite is anticipated to strengthen the university’s academic and clinical ecosystem by providing medical students, residents, and faculty with hands-on exposure to next-generation neurosurgical imaging technology.
