
Thomas Cook and SOTC Partner with DCT Abu Dhabi to Offer Complimentary UAE Entry Visas
Thomas Cook (India) Limited and SOTC Travel have teamed up with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) through a Visa Subsidy Programme, aiming to make holidays to Abu Dhabi more accessible for Indian travelers.As part of this partnership, the travel companies serve as select partners in the programme. DCT Abu Dhabi will cover the full cost of UAE entry visas for eligible bookings. Customers who book leisure holiday packages with a minimum continuous three-night hotel stay in Abu Dhabi can avail of a complimentary UAE entry visa at no additional cost.
The offer is available for bookings made between August 1, 2026, and October 31, 2026. The travel itself must take place by October 31, 2026, and is subject to applicable terms and conditions. This initiative strengthens the existing partnership between DCT Abu Dhabi, Thomas Cook India, and SOTC Travel, reflecting a shared commitment to providing value to Indian travelers.
The collaboration seeks to drive awareness and encourage more Indian tourists to experience Abu Dhabi’s diverse offerings, including its cultural heritage, world-class attractions, family entertainment, adventure activities, and luxury hospitality.
Mr Rajeev Kale, President and Country Head of Holidays, MICE, Visa at Thomas Cook (India) Limited, stated that the partnership enhances the value proposition for customers. He added that by offering a complimentary UAE entry visa for eligible leisure holiday bookings, they are making it more appealing for Indian travelers to explore Abu Dhabi’s various experiences.
Mr SD Nandakumar, President and Country Head of Holidays and Corporate Tours at SOTC Travel, highlighted the strong appeal of Abu Dhabi to families, couples, young professionals, and groups due to its year-round attractions and diverse tourism offerings. He expressed enthusiasm about partnering with DCT Abu Dhabi to enable eligible leisure travelers to benefit from the complimentary UAE entry visa.
