
TCS to Partner with JFK's New Terminal One to Revolutionize Global Travel Experience
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a strategic partnership with The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), aiming to establish the world's most advanced airport experience through technology and innovation. TCS, a global leader in IT services and consulting, will serve as the dedicated strategic partner to shape the guest experience for international travelers using the new terminal.The partnership focuses on laying the digital foundation for The New Terminal One, which is part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's $19 billion transformation of JFK Airport into a world-class global gateway. This comprehensive project includes two new terminals, modernized expanded facilities, a new ground transportation center, and an entirely simplified roadway network.
TCS will support all technology systems at the facility, enhancing terminalwide decision making for efficient airline operations and seamless guest experience. The scope of work covers passenger processing systems, AI-driven IT operations, infrastructure management, enterprise application support, and cybersecurity services.
Leveraging its expertise in the Travel, Transport, and Hospitality (TTH) practice, TCS will help develop next-generation airport operations and guest experiences across digital infrastructure, AI-enabled IT operations, and innovation initiatives. Utilizing solutions developed with Cognix™ and ignio™, the partnership aims to provide both The New Terminal One and partner airlines end-to-end visibility and proactive management of key elements such as passenger processing, baggage handling, and terminal security, ultimately leading to lower operating costs for airlines and a more efficient travel experience for passengers.
