Mumbai, January 14, 2026: Tata Consultancy Services announced a strategic collaboration with semiconductor major AMD to accelerate enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence at scale, spanning generative AI, hybrid cloud modernisation and high-performance computing deployments.

The partnership is aimed at helping enterprises move AI initiatives from pilot stages to full-scale production, while modernising legacy technology environments and building secure, high-performance digital workplaces. The two companies will jointly develop industry-specific AI and GenAI solutions by combining TCS’ domain expertise, systems integration strengths and global innovation ecosystem with AMD’s computing and AI product portfolio.

Under the collaboration, the focus areas include modernising hybrid cloud and edge environments, deploying AI-powered workplace solutions and accelerating innovation across cloud-to-edge workloads. The companies also plan to develop tailored accelerators, frameworks and best practices to enhance AI performance across both training and inference use cases.

TCS will upskill and certify its workforce on AMD hardware and software platforms, while both organisations plan to jointly invest in talent development to build a deep pool of specialists capable of delivering next-generation AI solutions. Industry-specific GenAI frameworks are expected to be developed for sectors such as life sciences, manufacturing and banking and financial services.

Commenting on the collaboration, TCS said the initiative marks a significant step toward enabling enterprises to transition from experimentation to large-scale AI deployment, while advancing its ambition to become a leading AI-driven technology services company.

AMD highlighted that enterprise-wide AI adoption requires high-performance computing capabilities and deep industry collaboration, adding that the partnership would help customers convert AI innovation into tangible growth opportunities across sectors.

As part of the engagement, TCS will integrate AMD Ryzen-powered client solutions for workplace transformation, while leveraging AMD EPYC processors, Instinct GPUs and AI accelerators to modernise hybrid cloud and high-performance computing environments. AMD’s embedded computing portfolio will also support edge innovation, inference and industrial digitalisation through adaptive system-on-chip platforms and programmable technologies.

The collaboration is positioned to deliver co-created AI and computing solutions that help enterprises adapt to the rapidly evolving AI-led digital landscape.
