Steel Authority of India Appoints T.N. Natarajan as Director (Commercial)​

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) announced the appointment of Shri T.N. Natarajan as Director (Commercial), effective March 19, 2026. The appointment follows a nomination by the Government of India's Ministry of Steel and approval from the SAIL Board of Directors.

Shri Natarajan, currently a Chief General Manager at SAIL, brings over 32 years of diversified experience to the role, spanning production, logistics, and sales. He has previously held leadership positions in warehouse management, marketing, and customer engagement.

According to company information, Shri Natarajan has been instrumental in shifting SAIL’s marketing approach toward solution-oriented engagement, and oversaw the establishment of SAIL's first Ready-to-Use TMT Service Centre in Kalamboli.

Shri Natarajan’s career highlights include securing ISO 14001 Environmental Certification for a SAIL Warehouse in Chennai, and driving market expansion and servicing MSME clusters in Trichy. As Regional Manager of Western Region, he focused on enhancing the capabilities of the Marketing Team, which resulted in improved market share of SAIL across Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and segmental growth in Fabrication, Earthmoving Equipment, Pre-Engineered Buildings and Oil & Gas.

SAIL affirmed that Shri Natarajan is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or other authority.
