Operational Strength and Strategic Focus
Mr. Anjanmoy Chatterjee, Chairman & Managing Director of Speciality Restaurants Limited, stated that the company reported a strong start to FY27. He noted that Revenue from Operations grew by 16.8% year-on-year, with PAT growing by 38.9% to ₹ 7.11 crore.Mr. Chatterjee highlighted that profit growth significantly outpaced revenue growth, reflecting improvements in operating efficiency and profitability. He focused specifically on the growth of Walters, which was introduced as a QSR format. Walters revenue has seen a 345% increase this quarter, reaching ₹ 1.56 crore from ₹ 35 lakh a year ago. The brand's contribution rose from 0.3% to 1.3% of consolidated revenue.
Over the next three quarters, the company plans to deepen its presence in Mumbai by launching a minimum of 12 to 15 new Walters stores and establishing a cloud kitchen to widen delivery reach.
