Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Limited announced the re-designation of Mr. K R Anandan as Whole-Time Director, effective March 23, 2026, to February 12, 2029. Mr. Anandan will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Previously appointed as Whole-Time Director (Finance) on February 13, 2026, for a three-year period, his role has been updated. The change is subject to shareholder approval.
Mr. Anandan, aged 62, is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and Company Secretary with over 33 years of experience in diverse sectors including manufacturing, fertilizers, and petrochemicals. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer positions at Greenstar Fertilizers Limited, Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL), and other companies.
According to the company, Mr. Anandan leads the accounting and finance functions, overseeing financial planning, risk management, and investment oversight. He has declared that he is not disqualified or debarred from holding the position.
The Board of Directors’ meeting took place from 2:00 P.M. to 4:15 P.M. (IST).
