Sotefin Bharat Ltd. is set to make its stock market debut on the BSE SME platform today, July 23. Despite robust financial growth and steady investor demand during the IPO subscription period, grey market indicators suggest a largely flat listing for the company. The SME IPO, which raised Rs 89.76 crore, saw shares trading at a marginal premium of about 1% above the issue price of Rs 187.The debut brings significant attention to the specialized parking solutions firm. While investor confidence was demonstrated through the subscription numbers, all eyes are now focused on the listing performance as it sets the stage for future growth in the automation sector.
Subscription Performance and Debut Outlook
The fresh issue of 48 lakh equity shares witnessed consistent demand across different segments during its IPO window, which ran from July 16 to July 20. Overall, the issue was subscribed 3.78 times. The Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment showed particularly strong interest, registering a subscription of 4.74 times.The retail investor portion also performed steadily, being subscribed at 3.78 times. The Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) category saw the least intense response, achieving a subscription rate of 2.82 times. Anchor investors had contributed Rs 25.58 crore to the IPO on July 15.
Financial Resilience and Market Growth Drivers
Sotefin Bharat has demonstrated strong financial resilience, driven by increasing market demand for automated parking infrastructure. The company reported substantial growth in FY26, marking a solid turnaround from the previous financial year.Total income surged 25.6%, rising to Rs 118.23 crore in FY26 from Rs 94.15 crore in FY25. Correspondingly, net profit witnessed a sharp increase of 53.6%, reaching Rs 17.37 crore compared to Rs 11.31 crore in FY25.
Strategic Use of IPO Proceeds and Business Focus
The proceeds raised from the SME debut are earmarked to significantly bolster the company's expansion trajectory and manufacturing capabilities. The business, founded in 2012, specializes in mechanized and automated parking solutions, offering comprehensive turnkey services.A substantial portion of the funds is designated for infrastructure development. Rs 20.13 crore will be used to establish a new manufacturing facility in Kolkata, West Bengal. Furthermore, Rs 8.17 crore has been allocated towards setting up new office premises. The company intends to deploy Rs 40 crore to meet working capital requirements, with the balance designated for general corporate purposes.
Sotefin Bharat currently manages operations across both domestic and international markets. Over 55 projects have been successfully completed as of March 31, 2026, and the firm is actively executing over 30 ongoing projects in key locations such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Dubai.
