Consolidated Profit Soars as Revenue Crosses ₹1,330 Crore Mark​

Sobha Ltd saw its stock climb 2.5% on July 21, following the release of robust first-quarter results for the quarter ended June. The realty firm reported a more than three-fold increase in its consolidated net profit, which stood at Rs 50.84 crore. This impressive jump comes from a net profit of Rs 13.61 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income rose significantly, reaching Rs 1,330.17 crore in Q1 of 2026-27. This marked a substantial increase from Rs 901.40 crore recorded in the preceding year. Revenue generated from operations saw a strong growth of 48%, totaling approximately Rs 1,330 crore for the quarter.

Trading at Rs 1,491.6 apiece as of 11:30 am on July 21, Sobha's shares reflected market confidence in the firm's operational strength and strategic expansion. The results highlight the growing demand across prime real estate markets.

Operational Milestones and Project Pipeline Drives Growth​

Jagadish Nangineni, Managing Director of Sobha Ltd, noted that achieving their highest-ever quarterly sales was a significant milestone. This success is attributed to successful new project launches in Bengaluru and Gurugram. He stated that this outcome underscores the deep trust customers have in the brand and the commitment of the team and its unique operating model.

Sobha continued to demonstrate robust market traction, selling 1,432 homes and plots covering 2.34 million square feet. The company completed 671 homes across eight projects, amounting to 1.08 million square feet of saleable area during the quarter.

The company successfully launched 6.89 million square feet of saleable area across three projects in Bengaluru and Gurgaon. These markets continue to exhibit healthy demand for high-end premium housing developments. Additionally, Sobha recently introduced its first project in Mumbai, a luxury residential development planned for Parel.

Strong Financial Indicators Signal Future Momentum​

The company maintained a strong financial footing during the quarter. Customer collections rose 8% year-on-year, reaching Rs 1,924 crore. This increase is crucial in supporting cash flows throughout the reporting period.

Average realization was posted at Rs 15,655 per square foot. This figure indicates sustained appetite for premium residential projects despite ongoing elevations in property prices across key markets.

Sobha ended the quarter with a healthy net cash position of Rs 659 crore. The strength of this balance sheet is anticipated to provide ample capacity for an aggressive launch pipeline in the coming quarters. Earlier this month, Sobha Ltd had reported that its sales bookings surged by 76% to Rs 3,656.1 crore, up from Rs 2,078.8 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter.

The firm has a strong track record; during 2025-26, Sobha sold properties worth Rs 8,135.9 crore, cementing its position as one of the leading real estate developers in India.
