SG Mart Limited Gains Interim Stay on Stamp Duty Orders from Delhi High Court​

SG Mart Limited announced that its writ petition challenging the orders passed by the Office of Collector of Stamps, Revenue Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, was listed for hearing before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi on May 29, 2026.

In the matter, the High Court of Delhi granted an interim stay on the operation of the impugned orders dated May 26, 2026.

However, the interim stay is subject to the Company depositing 50% of the total duty and penalty amount. The financial figure involved in the deposit requirement is ₹95.80 lakhs. SG Mart Limited has been granted a period of one month to complete the requisite deposit.

SGMART Stock Price Movement​

On Friday, SG Mart Limited shares slipped by 2.55% to settle at ₹590.2. The stock traded a volume of 255,973 shares, failing to hold above its day low of ₹585.6.
