Semac Construction Limited Approves Board Outcomes, Announces Director Re-appointment and Releases Q2 Financial Results

Semac Construction Limited released its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, following a meeting of its Board of Directors held on August 14, 2026. The Board meetings also saw the approval of these financial statements and secured the re-appointment of Mr. Harivansh Dalmia as a Whole Time Director.

The company operates in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Services segment.

Governance and Board Decisions

At the Board meeting on August 14, 2026, directors approved the unaudited financial statements (both standalone and consolidated) for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The Board also reviewed the reports provided by Statutory Auditors, Suresh Surana and Associates, regarding these results.

Key resolutions approved during the meeting included:
  • Approving the date for the 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 25, 2026, which will be conducted through video/audio conferencing.
  • Re-appointing Mr. Harivansh Dalmia as a Whole Time Director of the company.

The re-appointment of Mr. Harivansh Dalmia was made on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee for a term of five years, effective from August 29, 2026, subject to approval by members at the forthcoming AGM. Mr. Dalmia is a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Statutory Audit across various sectors, including consumer electronics, refractories, and IT services. The company also noted that Mr. Harivansh Dalmia is related to Abhishek Dalmia, Executive Chairman and Managing Director, and Mrs. Deepali Dalmia, a Director of the Company.
