Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2025-26, which ended on March 31, 2026. The company reported strong performance, noting that annual revenue crossed the ₹ 1.25 lakh Crores mark, marking an 11% year-over-year growth.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Vivek Chaand Sehgal, Chairman of Motherson, stated that FY26 was a defining year, achieving best-ever yearly revenues and resilient profitability despite a challenging macroeconomic environment. He highlighted that the focus on diversification helped the company outperform the market. The Chairman also noted that the improvement in the leverage ratio and a robust booked business of USD 96 billion reinforce the commitment to sustainable value creation.

Key highlights from the company’s performance include:

  • Growth: Annual revenue grew by 11% year-over-year. Growth was strong across segments, with Emerging businesses growing 50% YoY, Consumer Electronics growing 7.5x YoY, and Aerospace registering 40% YoY growth.
  • Capital Efficiency: The leverage ratio stood at 0.8x, which is down from 0.9x at the end of FY25, marking a record low for the company.
  • Order Visibility: The booked business reached USD 96 billion, providing robust visibility of near-to-mid-term growth. This was balanced by contributions from Automotive (75%), Automotive EVs (22%), and Non-Automotive (3%).
  • Capex Outlook: The company invested ₹ 5,911 Cr in Capex for FY26. The outlook for FY27 Capex is projected at ₹ 6,000 Crores +/- 10%. Fifty percent of the FY27 capex is anticipated to be growth capex, with 60% of that portion allocated to the Non-Automotive business.
  • Expansion: The company has 16 Greenfields at various stages of completion, with 13 expected to become operational during FY27. Four new Greenfields were announced: two for Automotive (in Morocco and Poland for Wiring Harness) and two for Non-Automotive (India and Hungary for Logistic Solutions).

Dividend Declaration​

The Board of Directors also approved a final dividend of ₹ 0.25 per share, subject to shareholders' approval. This proposed final dividend, combined with the Interim Dividend of ₹ 0.35 per share, results in a total dividend for financial year 2025-26 of ₹ 0.60 per equity share.
