Samhi Hotels Partners with Ingka Centres to Develop Upscale Hotel in Noida

Samhi Hotels Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary SAMHI Skyline Private Limited, has entered into an agreement with Ingka Centres India Private Limited, a part of the Ingka Group. The partnership involves leasing space for an upscale, approximately 162-room hotel within Ingka Centres' upcoming mixed-use development located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The agreement was finalized on April 15, 2026. The hotel will be situated within Ingka Centres' forthcoming mixed-use development, which spans roughly 2.5 million square feet in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar.

The ambitious project is set to be a marquee development, aiming to enhance Noida's skyline and strengthen its standing as a leading commercial and hospitality hub in the Delhi NCR region. The hotel will form part of Ingka Centres' broader Meeting Places concept, creating a modern retail-led destination that integrates shopping, leisure, and community-focused experiences while supporting local businesses and workspaces.

Strategic Framework and Development Details

The collaboration is highlighted as a best-in-class partnership, combining SAMHI's institutional operating platform with Ingka Centres' global development expertise. The project structure utilizes a long-term variable lease model, allowing for a capital-light approach. Under this model, Ingka will handle the building with facade and all high side engineering, while SAMHI will focus on investing in interior fit-outs. The hotel will eventually be managed under an international hotel brand to be determined later.

This initiative further expands SAMHI's presence in the Delhi NCR region. SAMHI already owns operational hotels in Gurgaon (Hyatt Place and Holiday Inn Express), and Greater Noida (Holiday Inn Express).

Industry Commentary

Ashish Jakhanwala, Chairman and Managing Director of SAMHI Hotels Ltd., stated that the partnership represents a significant milestone for the company. He noted that the Noida project is a marquee development with strong underlying demand drivers, expressing delight at collaborating with world-class partners in Ingka to deliver a landmark hospitality asset.
