Salora International Receives Show Cause Notice Regarding GST Registration​

Mumbai – Salora International Ltd. announced today, March 28, 2026, that it has received a Show Cause Notice from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department. The notice, dated March 27, 2026, concerns the potential cancellation of the company’s GST registration.

Salora International has been directed to respond to the notice within seven days and a personal hearing is scheduled for April 9, 2026. The company’s GST registration has been suspended effective March 27, 2026.

According to Salora International, the communication is provisional and does not represent a final determination regarding the cancellation of GST registration. The company states that the proceedings are in a preliminary stage and subject to due process.

Salora International clarified that the matter arose in the ordinary course of business and is routine in nature. The company is pursuing legal remedies and intends to cooperate with authorities throughout the ongoing proceedings.
