RHI Magnesita India Limited has announced that its subsidiary, RHI Magnesita India Refractories Limited (RHIMIRL), has approved the sale of the industrial land and associated fixed assets at its facility in Chhattisgarh.The Board of Directors of RHIMIRL approved the sale during a meeting held on May 20, 2026. The transaction encompasses the industrial land of the plant, along with the fixed plant and machinery located on that site.
The announcement follows the earlier discontinuation of operations and closure of the manufacturing facility for RHIMIRL, which is wholly owned by RHI Magnesita India Limited. The operational closure at the facility located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, was effective May 31, 2024.
This development marks the next phase of the asset disposition process for the former manufacturing unit.
