The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released a comprehensive summary detailing its performance under the Citizen's Charter for May 2026. The data highlights the substantial volume of applications processed, reaffirming the RBI's commitment to maintaining transparent and efficient regulatory services.In May, the total workload managed was 18,763 applications. This figure comprises applications pending at the start of the month (2,473) and those newly received (16,865), after deducting 575 applications referred back to the original applicants for necessary information.
