Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited announced key appointments following its 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on July 23, 2026. Shareholders approved the appointment of M/s Karthikeyan & Jayaram as Statutory Auditors and the re-appointment of Mr. R. Varadarajan as a Director and Wholetime Director.

The company's decision regarding statutory auditing reflects a change in its auditing firm for the next five years, while the AGM solidified the continuity of Mr. Varadarajan’s leadership within the organization.

Appointment of Statutory Auditors​

M/s Karthikeyan & Jayaram has been appointed as the new Statutory Auditors for Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited. This appointment follows M/s S Krishnamoorthy & Co., Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 001496S), who were retiring upon completion of two consecutive terms of five years each at the AGM.

The shareholders approved the appointment of M/s Karthikeyan & Jayaram, Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 007570S), for a term of five years, covering the financial statements ending March 31, 2027, to March 31, 2031.

M/s Karthikeyan & Jayaram was established on November 6, 1974, and has over five decades of professional experience. They operate in Coimbatore and Erode and have experience across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, banking, textiles, agro-based industries, logistics, and food industries.

Reappointment of Mr. R. Varadarajan​

At the 40th AGM, shareholders also re-appointed Mr. R. Varadarajan (DIN: 00001738) on his retirement by rotation as a Director. Furthermore, he was re-appointed as the Wholetime Director for five years.

The reappointment of Mr. Varadarajan as Wholetime Director is effective from June 5, 2026, until June 4, 2031. This role allows him to continue his association with Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited (RSCL), even after attaining the age of 70 during the specified tenure.

Mr. R. Varadarajan has been associated with RSCL since its inception in 1987, first serving as Wholetime Director on June 5, 2003. He holds Master's degrees in Business Management and English Literature. His experience encompasses strategic and financial planning, project management, technical operations, and commercial management.

He has played a crucial role in the company’s diversification efforts, which have spanned from sugar production into alcohol and organic fertilisers to cogeneration of power and bio-products. He was instrumental in the acquisition of sugar factories and the subsequent integration of their operational cultures. Mr. Varadarajan is actively engaged in industry associations and currently holds the position of President of the South Indian Sugar Mills Association (SISMA) and an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Sugar & Bio-energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA).

RAJSREESUG Stock Price Movement​

Shares of Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited slipped today, concluding the trading session down 0.32% to settle at ₹30.32. Trading saw a volume of 17,415 shares, which traded within an intraday range bounded by a high of ₹31.35 and a low of ₹30.24.
