Railtel Corporation Secures Major Order for Education Enhancement Project
Railtel Corporation of India Limited announced it has received a work order from the State Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). The order, received on March 18, 2026, involves the engagement of an implementation partner for Education Quality Enhancement in selected government schools across Bihar under the PM SHRI initiative.The project is valued at Rs. 1,68,74,99,997, including tax, and is to be executed by September 30, 2026. The order is considered a domestic service engagement.
According to the work order, neither the promoter, promoter group, nor group companies of Railtel have any interest in BEPC, and the order does not constitute a related party transaction.
