He has been promoted from the position of Executive Director/Mktg/SR to Principal Executive Director/Mktg/SR. This elevation makes him part of the Senior Management Personnel of the Company, effective from the date he takes charge of the higher post.Shri Bharatula's career profile includes extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, HR Management, Project Monitoring, and Implementation. He is highly proficient in Forward and Reverse Auction processes, e-procurement, Sales management, and Post Contract Management.
The officer holds an M.Tech from IIT Bombay and has attended specialized management training modules at ICLIF Kuala Lumpur, INSEAD Singapore, and ISB Hyderabad. His background includes serving as a Vigilance Officer in the South Central Railway, where he successfully implemented system improvement methods in Material Management and RPF.
Prior to his current role, Shri Bharatula served for four years as Marketing Head in RailTel/SR, securing high-value marketing contracts. He possesses strong exposure in Risk Assessment of Project and System Integration Projects. His prior experience also includes serving as CVO at NMDC and holding additional charges at NSL, RINL, MECON, and KOICL.
Shri Bharatula has played a key role in developing Procurement/Sales Manuals and customized Tender Documents for the company. He is credited with introducing the RACI-Matrix within the organization’s structure. Currently, as Executive Director/Mktg at Railtel Corporation of India Limited, he manages domestic business opportunities across IT/ICT/Railway Infra/Port solutions/SOC and Mining solutions.
