Rachana Infrastructure Limited announced it has received an order from the Office of the District Geologist, Geology and Mining Department, Aravalli (Modasa), Gujarat. The order, dated February 21, 2026, relates to the alleged unauthorized excavation of Ordinary Clay (Sadimati) at Survey No. 581, Rajpur (Vadagam).According to the order, the company is accused of excavating 67,195.128 MT of mineral without a valid permit, a violation of Rule 22 of the Gujarat Mineral Rules, 2017. The financial impact of the order includes a penalty of ₹1,17,59,147 and environmental compensation of ₹48,21,250, totaling ₹1,65,80,397.
Rachana Infrastructure Limited has reportedly appealed the decision before the Geology & Mining department.
