Prostarm Info Systems Ltd has announced a revision in the commencement timeline for commercial production at its manufacturing facilities. The company, which operates two distinct production sites, stated that while the factory buildings are substantially ready, an unavoidable delay has occurred due to external factors and prevailing geopolitical conditions.The manufacturing facilities include a 1.2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility located at Reliance MET in Jhajjar, Haryana, and another manufacturing site situated in Bakrol, Gujarat.
Prostarm informed stakeholders that the commencement of commercial production has been delayed because external factors and geopolitical conditions have impacted the timely availability of required resources and the completion of necessary operational activities.
The company has adjusted its projections and now expects to commence commercial production at both the Jhajjar and Gujarat manufacturing facilities on or before September 30, 2026.
Prostarm stated that management is closely monitoring the ongoing situation and is taking all necessary steps to expedite procurement processes to ensure the earliest possible commencement of commercial operations.
