Reaffirming the national dedication to fostering a healthier society, Shri Modi called for sustained collective efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare systems and prioritizing the well-being of every citizen.

The Prime Minister extended his best wishes for the good health of all citizens, urging everyone to take every possible measure to maintain personal fitness. In this context, he shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam detailing the benefits derived from physical exercise.

Through a post on X, the Prime Minister stated, "On World Health Day, we express our gratitude to all those who dedicate themselves tirelessly to the service of others and work towards a healthier planet. We also reaffirm our commitment to building a healthier society. Let us all keep working together to strengthen healthcare systems and prioritise well-being of every individual."

He also offered well wishes for the excellent health of all citizens, adding a direct appeal for everyone to make every effort to stay healthy. The accompanying Sanskrit verse highlighted the advantages of physical activity: "लाघवं कर्मसामर्थ्यं दीप्तोऽग्निर्मेदसः क्षयः। विभक्तघनगात्रत्वं व्यायामादुपजायते॥"
