Praxis Home Retail Limited announced a change in its leadership structure following the Board of Directors meeting held on April 15, 2026. The Board unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Ravi Venkatraman as the new Chairperson of the Company. This role is effective immediately and will complement his existing position as an Independent Director.Mr. Ravi Venkatraman is a highly experienced finance professional with over four decades of tenure in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. He holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (ACA), Cost Accountant (ICWA), and Commerce graduate.
His professional background is marked by significant contributions to corporate strategy and finance. Mr. Venkatraman retired in July 2020 as the Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer of Mahindra &Mahindra Financial Services Limited. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in capital raising, governance, risk management, and technology transformation. He was also part of the core team responsible for establishing and expanding several Mahindra Group financial services entities, including Mahindra Rural Housing Finance, Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund, and Mahindra Finance USA.
A respected board professional, Mr. Venkatraman has extensive experience serving on the boards of numerous listed and unlisted companies across the financial services, insurance, asset management, fintech, and banking sectors, and he continues to hold various independent directorships and advisory roles.
Mr. Venkatraman is not related to any of the Company's current Directors.
