WRPL is dedicated to setting up, developing, and constructing renewable power projects. Its scope covers wind power projects, solar power projects, Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects, or any other allied activities relating to the setup of wind parks or related power generation sources.
Powerica Limited holds 100% control over the new entity, making WRPL a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS). The subsidiary was incorporated in India and belongs to the Renewable Energy industry.
The acquisition process involved a cash consideration paid by Powerica Limited. Under this arrangement, the company subscribed to all of the paid-up share capital in WRPL. This includes 250,000 equity shares at a face value of INR 10/- per share, totaling an investment of INR 25,00,000/-.
