The initial public offering of PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery Ltd witnessed steady investor interest on the second day of bidding on Wednesday, with the issue subscribed 83 per cent overall.

According to NSE data, the IPO received bids for 47,23,424 shares against 57,06,235 shares on offer.

The public issue is scheduled to close on February 26.

Anchor Investment and IPO Details

Earlier this week, the Pune based jewellery retailer raised nearly Rs 171 crore from anchor investors, strengthening its institutional backing ahead of the public subscription window.

The company has fixed a price band of Rs 367 to Rs 386 per share for its Rs 380 crore IPO. The issue is entirely a fresh issue of equity shares and does not include any offer for sale component.

Fund Utilisation Plan: Expansion and Brand Building

PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery plans to deploy the proceeds primarily towards business expansion and brand enhancement.

The company intends to set up 15 new retail stores by fiscal year 2028. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to marketing and promotional expenses to enhance the visibility of its flagship brand, "Reva". The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.

On Monday, the company announced plans to invest Rs 287 crore to establish the 15 new stores as part of its expansion strategy.

"We are raising funds to expand our business," CEO Amit Modak said.

Company Background

PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery was formed after its promoter, P N Gadgil & Sons Ltd, divested its diamond jewellery business through a slump sale. The transaction enabled PNGS Reva to operate as an independent entity with its own brand identity while continuing in the diamond jewellery retail segment.

The company is a retail focused jewellery brand engaged in offering a wide range of jewellery products to customers.

With the IPO nearing closure and institutional participation remaining strong, investor focus now shifts to the final subscription numbers and listing trajectory.
