PFC Subsidiaries Deoghar Infra, Deoghar Mega Power, and Jharkhand Infra Power Struck Off​

Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) has confirmed that three of its wholly owned subsidiary companies have been struck off by the registrar of companies. The striking off was effective from June 1, 2026, citing compliance under Section 248 of the Companies Act 2013.

The three subsidiary companies marked for dissolution are:

  • Deoghar Infra Limited
  • Deoghar Mega Power Limited
  • Jharkhand (infra power Limited)

The corporation noted that these entities were not material subsidiaries to PFC. Furthermore, the company confirmed that these subsidiaries had been incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, specifically functioning as Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

The process of dissolution was initiated following approval from the Ministry of Power, Government of India, which granted permission for the closure and striking off of the company names on November 27, 2025. These historical approvals paved the way for the final striking off action.

PFC Stock Price Movement​

Power Finance Corporation Limited shares today slipped by 1.80% to close at ₹413.05. The stock saw robust activity in the session, recording a total traded volume of 6.07 million shares.
