Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL) has formed a strategic business development and service collaboration with General Carbon Advisory Services Private Limited (GC Advisory). This partnership aims to strengthen ORSL's offerings in sustainability and carbon management, with a specific focus on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) advisory and compliance support.

The collaboration marks a significant expansion for ORSL, allowing the company to extend its expertise beyond traditional waste valorisation, bioenergy, and environmental engineering into high-value sustainability advisory services.

Under the new arrangement, ORSL will utilize its market presence and industrial relationships to support organizations needing assistance with CBAM preparedness, carbon reporting, emissions data management, and broader sustainability compliance services. General Carbon Advisory Services will complement this by providing specialized technical advisory, assessments, reporting frameworks, and verification support, forming an integrated service offering.

The strategic timing of this partnership is driven by global regulations, such as CBAM, which increasingly affect export-oriented industries. Indian manufacturers, particularly in sectors including steel, aluminum, cement, chemicals, and engineering products, are expected to face mounting pressure to demonstrate transparent emissions reporting and compliance readiness.

The services covered by the collaboration are comprehensive, including CBAM readiness assessments, emissions data review and reporting support, carbon accounting and documentation frameworks, supplier engagement and sustainability reporting systems, and broader decarbonisation and climate compliance advisory.
