He is qualified as a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI, Hyderabad.His career background includes joining ONGC in 1990 as a Finance & Accounts Officer. Mr Agarwal has held various finance assignments across different locations, including Baroda, Dehradun, Jorhat, Mumbai, and Delhi, gaining comprehensive experience across all finance functions at both operational and corporate levels.
In addition to his current role as Director (Finance) of ONGC, Shri Agarwal previously served as Director (Finance) of ONGCVidesh Limited since June 2022. He also held roles as Chairman of ONGC Overseas Investment Limited (OOIL) and as a Director on the Board of ONGC Videsh B.V., Amsterdam.
