NTPC Group Capacity Reaches 91,080 MW Following COD Declaration of Solar Component in Rajasthan
NTPC Limited has reported an operational milestone following its subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), declared the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for a third-party solar capacity component within a project in Rajasthan. This achievement contributes significantly to the renewable energy expansion efforts of the group.The COD declaration pertains to 50 MW of Solar Capacity, which forms part of a cumulative 150 MW Solar component under a 100 MW RE Round The Clock (RTC) project located in Rajasthan. The operational status was declared effective from 00:00 hrs on July 31, 2026.
In line with this operational update, the NTPC group has reported its total installed capacity reaching 91,080 MW. Furthermore, the commercial capacity of the company stands at 90,000 MW.
