Comprehensive Transport Solutions Planned for Seamless Passenger Connectivity

Noida, February 24: Noida International Airport announced on Tuesday that it has selected Mann Fleet Partners Limited as its mobility services partner to deliver comprehensive ground transportation solutions for passengers.

The airport said the partnership is aimed at ensuring seamless and efficient connectivity to and from the upcoming airport through an integrated range of transport services.

Under the agreement, Mann Fleet Partners Limited will provide car rental services, premium pick-up and drop-off facilities at arrival and departure curbs to reduce walking distances, and operate, manage, and maintain bus shuttle services within the airport campus.

Regional Connectivity to Key Transit Points

The mobility partnership will also enable connectivity between the airport and major regional hubs, including Pari Chowk, Botanical Garden, and Greater Noida West. Additional routes are planned to be introduced in the future.

Christoph Schnellmann, Chief Executive Officer of Noida International Airport, said that seamless and efficient ground transportation is fundamental to delivering a world-class passenger experience.

He stated that the collaboration with Mann Fleet Partners Limited reflects the airport’s commitment to providing diverse, reliable, and high-quality mobility solutions, ensuring convenient and hassle-free journeys for passengers and employees.

Amrit Mann, Managing Director of Mann Fleet Partners Limited, described the airport as representing the future of Indian aviation and positioned to emerge as one of the leading airports globally.

He said the company, with what it described as India’s largest premium mobility fleet and experience in large-scale operations, aims to build a scalable, customer-centric mobility ecosystem that supports the airport’s long-term growth while enhancing passenger experience.

Integrated Transport Framework Strengthened

The airport added that the new mobility services will further strengthen ground connectivity. This development builds on recently signed agreements with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Delhi Transport Corporation, Haryana Roadways, and Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.

The integrated transport framework is designed to ensure smooth regional access once the airport becomes operational.

Project Overview: India’s Largest Airport by Area

Noida International Airport, being developed in Jewar under a public-private partnership model, is being built by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG.

The first phase of the project spans approximately 1,300 hectares and includes one runway and a terminal building. Upon completion of all four phases, the airport will cover nearly 5,000 hectares, making it India’s largest airport in terms of area.

Passenger operations were initially scheduled to begin in September 2024. The government has not yet announced a revised inauguration schedule, though operations are expected to commence in the near future.
