New Light Industries Limited Appoints New Managing Director and CFO
New Light Industries Limited announced several leadership changes following a board meeting held on March 23, 2026. The company appointed Mr. Saurabh Agrawal as Managing Director, effective March 23, 2026, for a period of one year, subject to shareholder approval. Simultaneously, Mrs. Himanshi Sharma resigned from her position as Managing Director, effective March 23, 2026.Mr. Agrawal brings over two decades of experience across fintech, e-commerce, and telecom, previously serving in leadership roles including CTO and Head of Engineering. The board expressed sincere appreciation for Mrs. Sharma’s guidance and support during her tenure.
In addition to the Managing Director appointment, Mr. Saurabh Agrawal was also appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), also effective March 23, 2026. Mrs. Himanshi Sharma also ceased to hold the position of CFO, effective the same date.
The board also re-appointed M/s Shashank Kumar & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for the financial year 2025-2026.
Finally, the board decided to temporarily defer a proposal for the acquisition of Jonquil Global Private Limited, citing a longer-than-anticipated due diligence process. The proposal will be reconsidered upon completion of due diligence and subject to necessary approvals.
