MOIL Profit Surges 70% in Q1 FY27 as Operational Discipline Drives Record Growth​

MOIL Limited has reported a highly successful first quarter for fiscal year 2026-27, showcasing steady growth across both operational metrics and profitability. The Board of Directors approved the financial results, which indicate substantial improvements in core business performance compared to the previous period.

Financial Performance Snapshot​

The company witnessed significant gains in its bottom line. Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 70%, reaching ₹87.62 crore from ₹51.51 crore in Q1 FY25-26. Furthermore, Profit Before Tax (PBT) saw a substantial jump of 75%, climbing to ₹111.62 crore from ₹63.82 crore.

Revenue streams also showed healthy expansion. Revenue from Operations increased by 7% to ₹370.88 crore, up from the previous period’s figure of ₹348.06 crore. Total Revenue stood at ₹391.13 crore, marking a 6% increase over the ₹370.52 crore recorded previously.

Operational Strength and Market Realization​

Operational efficiency drove the financial gains. Manganese Ore Production stood at 507,605 MT, reflecting a 1% increase compared to the 502,260 MT produced in Q1 FY26. Sales of Manganese Ore reached 369,049 MT, which is a 4% rise from the corresponding figure last year.

The Net Sales Realization (NSR) demonstrated improved pricing and sales performance. NSR hit ₹9,749 per MT, securing a 10% gain when compared to the previous quarter’s realization of ₹8,884 per MT.

MOIL management attributed these strong results to the dedication and hard work of its workforce. The company emphasized that the achieved growth metrics are a direct reflection of the operational discipline maintained by the team across all levels.
