
New Delhi, January 1, 2026: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) reported strong sales performance in December 2025, with total vehicle dispatches rising 22 percent year-on-year to 2,17,854 units, compared with 1,78,248 units in December 2024. The growth was led by robust domestic demand, which touched a new monthly record.

Passenger car sales stood at 92,929 units, driven by strong traction in the compact segment comprising models such as Baleno, Swift, Dzire, WagonR, and Ignis.Utility Vehicles
Utility vehicle volumes rose to 73,818 units, reflecting continued demand for models including Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6, and Invicto.Vans and LCVs
- Van sales (Eeco) remained stable at 11,899 units.
- Light commercial vehicle Super Carry sales increased to 3,519 units, indicating improvement in small commercial demand.
Calendar Year 2025 Milestone
